Neo G Opti-Heal Silicone Foam Flex Dressing is designed to support effective healing of moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Ideal for cuts, post-surgical wounds, pressure injuries and ulcers, it delivers advanced moisture management while remaining gentle on fragile skin.
Shaped to conform to difficult areas such as knees and elbows, the soft, flexible and breathable design provides secure, comfortable coverage for up to 7 days. The silicone contact layer adheres to skin, not wounds, allowing for gentle removal and repositioning to support easy wound monitoring.
With a showerproof 360° seal to help protect against dirt and germs, Opti-Heal creates a moist healing environment that promotes optimal recovery and significantly faster healing times than that of dry wounds, while helping reduce the risk of damage to surrounding tissue.
Ensure the dressing is the appropriate size for the wound. The dressing pad should be ½ inch larger than the wound.
1. Always wash hands before and after treating a wound.
2. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin.
3. Remove the dressing from the sterile wrapper.
4. Remove one portion of the release films.
5. Place the dressing centrally over the wound site. Avoid touching the side to be used on the wound.
6. Remove the remaining release film and smooth the dressing down over the skin.
The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days dependent upon wound condition and exudate level.
Examine wound by carefully lifting a corner of the dressing. The dressing should be changed when significant signs of exudate are visible or can be seen pooling around the edge of the pad.
Remove dressing by pulling and slightly stretching a corner of the dressing. Gently remove the dressing from the wound bed and dispose according to local environmental procedures. Cleanse wound site as required.
